The Greeneville Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday, December 3rd at 2PM. The staging area will take place on Bohannon Avenue with the parade route turning on to Main Street and dispersing at Crescent School.

All entries must register to participate, and only 100 entries will be taken. Registration will close once 100 entries have been accepted or on November 27th.

You must bring your parade confirmation receipt and QR code to the staging area on Bohannon Avenue to be allowed entry. This can be printed or shown on a phone.

Below are the parade rules for your group to fully understand before participating. 

- The Parade will start promptly at 2pm and take place rain or shine and not be rescheduled due to inclement weather. 

- All floats/vehicles in the parade must enter the staging area on Bohannon Avenue via Andrew Johnson Highway at Kubota (elected officials will enter on Austin Street and Firetrucks will enter on Hankins Avenue). 

- Parents should coordinate with their group’s leader on the best location to drop children/participants off.  A drop off location will be available at the intersection of Bohannon Street and Austin/Housley Avenue until 1:30pm. However, please try to have your entire group on your float before entering the staging area. A good meeting place is the Dollar General Market Parking lot. 

- Floats being judged must arrive to the judging area in the parking lot at the Volunteer Stockyard (336 Bohannon Ave.) by 12:30PM. Lineup for all other participants will begin at 1pm. 

- All entries must be appropriate in nature. Profanity or vulgarity will no be tolerated and questionable entries will be denied participation by the parade committee. 

- There will only be one Santa in the parade and will be on the Greeneville Fire Departments Truck.

- Throwing candy is prohibited. Please have walkers on the side of your float to hand candy to spectators.  

-  The parade will disperse and end at Crescent School on Main Street. Parents may pick children up at Crescent or at another location nearby. 

-  There will be no street parking anywhere along the parade route. This is for the safety of all participants and spectators. Spectators are highly encouraged to arrive early to find parking close by the route. Some suggestions on spectator parking are – First Baptist Church, Walters State Community College, Greeneville High School, Towne Square Shopping Center, and the Summer Street Public Parking Lot located behind the Courthouse.
