Position Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Greeneville facility. This role is responsible for repairing and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Repair basic electrical and mechanical systems, including wiring, switches, tools, and manually operated equipment
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals to determine repair needs
  • Troubleshoot production equipment across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems
  • Load, unload, lift, and move parts and equipment using powered industrial trucks and overhead lifting equipment
  • Complete basic computer tasks including work order entry, inventory lookups, and downtime tracking
  • Read and understand meters and gauges
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow housekeeping standards
  • Identify, communicate, and assist in resolving safety hazards
  • Fabricate parts using machine shop tools and equipment
  • Maintain strong communication with production personnel
  • Identify and report opportunities to reduce unplanned downtime and improve efficiency




Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • Certificate in Mechanical Maintenance or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical controls, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems
  • Experience with component or millwork equipment is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to weld and safely operate electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and measuring devices
  • Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and powered industrial trucks
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain required certifications
  • Strong attendance record and reliability
  • Flexibility to work any shift and be on-call as needed
